We thank God for having ordered us to come to the "Peace" cemetery this year, to the grave of the hero from Botosani, Mugur Calinescu. Together with our colleagues from the choir "St. John Jacob the Hozevitch" and in collaboration with our fellow members of the association "Happy", we organized the commemoration of the young man from Botosani who had the courage to face the communist regime alone. During the event, the parish priest Marian Macuc celebrated a memorial service and wreaths were laid in memory of the man who will remain in the hearts of the people of Botosani as a bright landmark in the fight for truth. We were joined by brothers from Suceava and Iași, as well as dozens of high school students from the "A. T. Laurian" college, the "Mihai Eminescu" college and the "Sf. M. M. Gheorghe" theological seminary. We welcome the presence of the teachers and the General School Inspector, Mrs Ada Macovei, which may be the first signal that the authorities of Botosani are committed to the memory of the true anti-communist heroes.
