Because, more than ever, our children need moral benchmarks and role models in the true sense of the word.
Because, through his act of courage, Mugur Călinescu is a true model for any young man from Botosani who sincerely wants to leave the conformist-defeatist pattern of our times.
The Botoșani Shield Association, in partnership with the Botoșani County School Inspectorate, organizes on Saturday, 11.02.2023, at 12:00, the event "Mugur Călinescu, the unknown hero".
The event will take place in Pacea cemetery, at the grave of the anti-communist hero Mugur Calinescu.
During the commemoration actions, a memorial service will be held, after which the students participating in the competition "Mugur Calinescu, the unknown hero" will be awarded.
